Nipping at the heels of our report on the upcoming All Tomorrow's Parties 2011 Asbury Park just the other day found here: All Tomorrow's Parties 2011 Asbury Park Curated by Portishead. ATP has announced today that it has added some new acts to the already stellar line-up.
Courtesy of their home website ATP had this to say about the new additions:
We can now announce the fantastic new additions of Public Enemy performing ‘Fear Of A Black Planet’ and Company Flow to the line up for the Sunday, as well as the addition to the Saturday line up of Thought Forms.
There will also be the inclusion of a literary stage on the Sunday, hosted by Lapham's Quarterly and exploring the theme of "The Future" more details are below.
Already boasting a killer line-up throughout the weekend this years ATP appears to still have many surprises up its sleeve, and is shaping up to give New Jersey quite the jolt when all the madness touches down inside of Asbury Park. Expectations are high as many attendees will undoubtedly miss Kutsher's psychedelically carpeted halls, its whispers from the ghosts of vacations past, and questionable amenities. However, each and every year of ATP has brought with it its own unique charm and as a veteran of each one of them I will sleep soundly knowing that this year will be no different. With still more bands to be announced it's only a matter of time before the itinerary for the weekend is released and everyone can start planning their attack. Bring it on!
Single Day Tickets are still available and can be purchased here:
