Some rather unfortunate news has come down the wire this morning. The band, Mogwai,has cancelled the remaining dates of their US Tour, as well as plans to participate in this years All Tomorrow's Parties 2011 I'll Be Your Mirror event.
The band had this to say:
"It is with the utmost regret that for medical reasons we have to postpone our American shows this week and cancel the I'll Be Your Mirror performance. We will announce new dates as soon as possible and apologise for the last minute nature of this announcement."

With any hope the conditions of the band and the illness within are not serious and the band can return to their scheduled tour very shortly. Now the question remains: Will Mogwai be replaced on such short notice with another big name band to play the Sunday of ATP weekend, or will the spot simply go dormant? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
