To get involved with the Three-Page Short Stories, it's very simple.
1. Write the first page of a story and submit it to us via email at submit@neverendingstoryproject.com. If you would rather not submit a first page, click the Sign Up link to receive a page from a already started story to work on.
2. Send the story back to us using the same email, we can then send you another story to work on, or you can take a little break. Your choice. Just let us know in the email.
3. The story will be sent to a third person to complete and then it will be posted on the web site for everyone to read.
4. ILLUSTRATORS: Read the story and help bring our words to life with illustrations. Submit your work to us and we'll post it up with the story. Illustration works the same as the stories. One illustrator and illustration per Three-Page Story. If you want to continue to contribute to the project, we would LOVE you to, it just has to be on a different story.
NOTE: There's no real set deadline for working on the stories. Ideally we would like them to be back as soon as possible, but we know that you have lives and sometimes you can't get to the story right away. Of course this comes with a stipulation; the no deadline thing is within reason. If we don't hear from you for weeks and weeks, we're obviously going to assume that you don't want to work on the story. We will email you to see how things are going, hopefully we will hear back from you. If not, the story will be passed onto someone else.
To participate in one of our Twitter Story Writing Events, follow these steps:
1. Visit our Twitter page at www.twitter.com/story_project
2. Follow us and check on the progress of a story by typing #NeSP into the search bar in Twitter.
3. Think of what you would like to contribute, then making sure to add the #NeSProject hash tag, write out the next part of the story as you see fit.
4. Tweet your part of the story.
5. Once you've posted, wait for someone else to post a new part to the story and then add a new bit of the story if you wish.
6. Once a story is complete, it will be posted on the main page of the web site, where you can then help to name the story and if you're extra artsy or know anyone who likes to draw, help us illustrate it.
7. Have FUN! :)
