We really want to encourage creative freedom in this project, so there aren’t many rules as far as the writing goes, just a few quick basic ones:
- Write what you want whether it be a comedy, tragedy, drama, fiction, non-fiction and MIX it up! Don’t be afraid to change the style of the previous author.
- Unlimited tweeting in a story... Please don't make us have to change this rule. Basically, while there IS unlimited posting... Please allow another user to post a new sentence before you post again. We LOVE that you want to participate, but you can't write the entire story, so share.
- While we are perfectly ok with any writing, if you would like to include any adult romance type writing (or anything adult in general), please keep the graphic content minimal as we have participants of all ages involved in the project.
- Absolutely none of the stories are to be used for any purpose outside of the Project without consent. If you would like to use a story and are granted permission, you MUST include the names of all other authors involved with the story.
- The stories that your submit to us MUST be your own ideas. Please do not copy anything from another source. If you would like to take a story and alter it, such as the latest craze "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies", do so, but do not plagiarize.
- Respect the other authors that contribute to the stories. If you do not like how the story turned out, keep it to yourself. You may feel free to discuss how it turned out on the site, or our facebook page, but under NO circumstances should you harass, abuse or bully any other contributor. Constructive criticism is the only kind of criticism welcomed here.
Tips:
When using this web site, please note the following things:
- No one from the NeS Project will EVER ask you for your passwords to ANYTHING.
- We will NOT sell your address to any mailing lists and we will absolutely NOT use your address for anything other than sending you stories to help write.
- NeS Project will NOT use your stories EVER without giving all of the responsible parties the proper credit and asking for permission. If you see a story from the site posted ANYWHERE without the proper credits, please report it to us IMMEDIATELY.
